Coverage Availability
Platinum Protection coverage is available to anyone who lives in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Rhode Island and is purchasing furniture from a Raymour and Flanigan showroom or RaymourFlanigan.com. We do not offer coverage on rugs and home decor items, which include lamps, wall art and florals.

How to File a Claim
If a stain or damage occurs to your furniture, call 1-866-475-9170 to file a service claim. If you are calling after hours, leave a message and a Customer Service Coordinator will contact you within 24 hours.

Service Contract
This Raymour & Flanigan Platinum Protection Plan Service Contract (this "Plan" or "Service Contract") is a Service Contract between you, the consumer ("you," "your"), and R&F Furniture Protection Company, LLC, the seller and provider of this Service Contract ("we," "us," "our"). This Plan is not insurance, nor is it your original manufacturer's warranty. This Plan only applies to new fabric, leather, and vinyl upholstered furniture; wood and other hard surface furniture; and mattresses, up to a maximum of $30,000 in retail value, used in a normal indoor household setting.

This Plan applies to the merchandise as identified on your sales ticket for which the Platinum Protection Plan has been purchased at the price shown on the sales ticket.

This Plan is the complete and exclusive statement of the terms and conditions regarding our performance of service, and replaces any prior oral or written communications on that subject.

This Plan is only valid in those states in which Raymour & Flanigan Furniture operates its full service showrooms.

Coverage Period
This Plan is valid for a period of five years from the date of delivery of your new furniture or mattress covered by this Plan (the "Term").

Requirements & Customer Responsibilities
In addition to your other responsibilities described elsewhere in this Plan, you must comply with the following requirements in order for a claim to be honored under this Plan.

Failure to meet any of the following requirements will result in a denial of service under this Plan.

  • You must be the original purchaser of the furniture and this Plan.
  • You must perform all routine and preventative maintenance recommended by the manufacturer.
  • You must report any stain or damage within 7 business days after noticing the stain or damage to 1-866-475-9170.
  • If a stain or damage occurs, you must protect the furniture against further damage.
  • The account on which the merchandise was purchased must be current and not in arrears.

Ms. Reynolds came home from work to find red marker not only on her living room walls—but also on her sofa! When she went looking for her son, he was making his way down the hall and caught red-handed. Apparently, her son envisioned himself a modern-day Picasso.

Ms. Reynolds called in right away, and we were able to schedule a service to spot clean. Now, her sofa looks brand new… and she’s reassured us that her son’s taken his artistic abilities to paper.

After quickly ironing out the details, we sent one of our experts to repair Mrs. Vinces' tabletop. Now her dining table looks perfect, and her ironing board is always within reach.

Making last-minute preparations for her father-in-law's birthday party, Mrs. Vinces left her iron cooling on a table pad on her dining table. While she was distracted, her son turned on the iron and laid it down on the pad. Mrs. Vinces ran errands all day; and when she got home, she smelled something burning. The iron had burned all the way through to her table!

Ms. Anderson was stunned when she discovered her 2-year-old covered the accent pillow on her sleeper sofa with lip liner while playing "makeover." She couldn't stand to face the damage until she remembered she had Platinum.

We sent Ms. Anderson a new accent pillow right away. She was thrilled to know it was covered by her Platinum Protection Plan. Now she keeps her makeup out of reach-at least until her little girl's a teenager.


 

As huge football fans,
Mike and Amy were excited about the "Big Game". They even bought a brand-new TV for the ultimate football experience. But while placing their TV on their entertainment center, they dropped it and smashed one of the shelves!

The TV survived the fumble, and we ordered Mike and Amy a new shelf for their entertainment center right away. Now they're both big fans of Raymour & Flanigan

Dave and Renee thought they moved their sectional sofa far enough away from the wall until paint splattered on the back of it. Then unimaginably, their 2-year-old daughter sat on the sectional and started drawing on a cushion with crayons. When Renee responded excitedly to tell her daughter to stop, she accidentally spilled a cup of milk all over the sectional sofa!

Dave and Renee were relieved when we sent someone to make their sectional spotless. Now their room looks great, and they keep more coloring books in the house.

Luckily, thanks to Platinum, the Grinch couldn’t steal Christmas this time! Rhonda and John were so relieved when we were able to repair their cocktail table in time for everyone to enjoy hot cocoa and eggnog on the holidays.

Rhonda and John were bringing in a tree for the holidays. Unfortunately, John tripped on the area rug in the living room and down came the tree. It just barely grazed the cocktail table but still left an ugly gouge in the wood.
