Paying Sales Tax

Tax policy

• Tax is based on tax rates for your taxing jurisdiction derived from the delivery address being used for your order.
• Tax is calculated based on the total value of your order that may include delivery charges if you elect to have your furniture delivered.

Raymour & Flanigan collects applicable sales taxes in all states where we sell or deliver product (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island) except for Delaware.

We are required to collect tax on delivery charges in all states except Delaware and Massachusetts.

Please note that on-screen order totals include appropriate sales tax. If you have questions about the taxes on your order, please call us at 1-866-383-4484.

Tax exempt purchases

If you are making a purchase for a tax-exempt organization, or are an individual that qualifies for a tax exemption, please contact our Customer Service team at 1-866-383-4484.

To ensure compliance with state and local laws, all requested forms and information must be received and verified by our Customer Service team before a purchase can be placed without tax.
