Klick Klack versus Bulky Sofa-Sleeper

About Me Budget Shopper
Comments about ROTTA MOVEIS Regatta Full Klik Klak Sleeper w/ Storage:
SOFA SLEEPER VERSUS KLICK KLACKSofa - Heavy and bulky. Difficult to reposition or to clean behind and below the sofaKlick – Light-weight: Reposition or clean under Klick with much less effort Sofa – Requires a measure of strength to pull out sleeper (can be practically impossible for the elderly or those infirmed with arthritis) Klick – Slides up easily, push slightly forward (Klick) and pull slight back (Klack) to open up into sleeper modeSofa – Top cushions need to be stored while sofa is in sleeper modeKlick – No cushions to store while in sleeper mode (other than throw cushion, which are less bulky)Sofa – Mattress can be soft to firm Klick – Mattress is definitely firm ( no other option)Sofa – Does not have storage areaKlick – has storage area which is great for studio apartment. When I moved into a studio I needed to find space efficient furnishings for my living-room, which will also serve as a bedroom/computer entertainment room, etc. I opted for a futon and a Klick Klack. I slept on the futon and sat on the Klick Klack daily. Occassionally I used the Klick for guest. Two and a half years later my futon's mechanism went to futon heaven so I needed to replace it. (I do not recommended buying a futon for everyday use, just an awful sleep) I took to sleeping on the klick klack until at which time I make up my mind as to which sofa-sleeper would replace the futon. I made up my mind and I did purchase a beautiful, bulky, chenille sofa-sleeper. Fortunately or unfortunately it didn't fit past my front door, (too narrow) so I started rethinking the pros and cons of another Klick Klack. Besides all of the pros & cons above, I made further considerations: Yes, the seat which serves as a mattress is firm but I had a more restful sleeps than I did on the futon and I have yet to awaken with an achy body. Yes the Klick is not cushioned and you don't sink in to it, but set up the two rectangular pillows, which come with the Klick, up against the small of your back and it can be therapeutic while allowing for slouching. So this particular Klick Klack doesn't have armrest but those two rectangular cushions give it a faux look armrest. So having a faux looking armrest didn't hold up one of my two pillows so I put two pillows in one pillowcase. That helped. So the Klick Klack is lower to the floor than a regular sofa. At least I don't have knee problems. Gee I'm still in a quandary. I'm sure that my four sons can get that beautiful, bulky, chenille sofa sleeper through the doorway. Let me call them. But then again that beautiful, bulky, chenille sofa sleeper is not space efficient. What am I going to do? Do I opt for space efficientcy or bulky beauty? MMMmmmm

Good Value For the Cost

About Me Midrange Shopper
This was a really good product for the money. I like it because it doesn't take up alot of room and it is very easy to fold it down into a bed. We use it in a spare bedroom and it looks really nice. My son has slept on it and said it was comfortable. I think it is also comfortable to sit on. It is small however, and may not be as confortable for taller people or a couple who are bigger in size. However, it works for us.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was super fast. The delivery men were very careful carrying it up my staircase which is narrow. They also showed me how to fold it down and fold it back up to a couch.

This was to replace a couch that was very worn out, so much so you sank into the back cushions. With this you NEED extra back cushions to sit, its too firm, and even sitting, is not too comfy. I can't imagine these other people are using this couch as the lounge around sofa.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me High-end Shopper
This item is great for small apartments or, for a small room. It's very firm and comfortable. I love it as it sleeps like a bed. Much nicer than the normal futons, it's a step up. I like the storage space underneath for pillows, comforters and, sheets. It cleans easily however, I wish it came in leather or even a faux leather would work. Also, I would have loved it even more if the wood area was actually made of real wood. Overall, I'm pleased and I almost purchased another one but my husband said he did not want two of the same items. I recommended this item to several friends.
The delivery was great! Our apartment is hard to fit furniture but the Raymour and Flanigan team were spot on. They made the day by getting the Klik Klak into the apartment. I was very pleased.

Really surprised me

After breaking my foot and being in a cast, I needed something to sleep in on the main floor of my house. I chose the Klik Klac sofa to put in the den, and am very happy with my selection. I have been sleeping on it for about a month & 1/2 and find it to be very comfortable. The set up from sofa to bed is very simple and I am able to do it myself even though I am on crutches. I was alittle worried about the sofa being sturdy since I am a large woman, but it has really surprised me with how sturdy it is. I would definately recommend this product.

I will use as an extra bed for guests. Its really nice to sit and frim to sleep on it. Color is nice. Very good product from R & F.
Delivery was prompt. But it was not delivered in good condition. The storage box had a big hole on the bottom but the guys who delivered knowingly bring up to the bed room concealing the hole from outside with a pillow that comes with it. I checked the fabric and when the storage was opened, the hole was covered cleverly with a brochure. I accepted the delivery and sign for it. After the delivery guys left I went through again and noticed the big hole on the right end corner, 4X6 inches in size. The bottom is made of cardborad. I called the customer service right away. She will gladly replace it in a week. She is fantastic.

I bought this piece for my office. It looks great,[...] Since my doorway to my office is narrow, I thought it would be a problem, but it fit. The fabric is soft yet durable enough to withstand abuse by a two-year old.
