Comments about STEARNS & FOSTER BEDDING Estate Wanda Luxury-Plush Pillowtop Queen Mattress:
I purchased a bed very similar to this one, The Oxford St Plush, after trying out several different beds. I asked the salesman, "I'm looking for a mattress that closely resembles one you'd find in a pretty nice hotel." After trying out a few others, he brought me to this one. I fell in love with it right away, but found that shortly after the return time had expired, I was already realizing that this bed didn't have the support or the longevity that most hotel bed sets have.I purchased the Platinum Protection Plan with the bed, which warranties it for sagging, but found that it was .2" away from a claim after a service tech came to my home to measure the sag. This was my first really nice bed that I had purchased and spent a decent amount on. I never would have imagined the back pain that it has caused, the frequent trips to the chiropractor, the daily aches and pains, that my mid section would sink into the bed so much that my feet and head would create a soft V, or any of the other problems that it has caused. It's now apparent that I need to replace the bed as it's simply not appropriate for day to day use. I've had guests use it and love it on a single or multiple night visit, which was my first experience, but it just doesn't have the support that should be part of any bed. I never leave comments like this one, nor spend the time it takes to write up something like this, but if it means preventing someone from being put in the same position that I am, struggling to get out of bed in the mornings, I'll do anything in my power to help the next person.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

About Me High-end Shopper
We purchased this S&F king size mattress and box spring less than a year ago and it is terrible! It sags so much that after my husband gets up in the morning I climb onto the center of the bed where it is a little more comfortable. The first few months it was good, but quickly went downhill! To top it off, Raymour and Flanigan will not honor the warranty. Beware when the sales people tell you about the warranty. They have so many loopholes, you'll never win! Do yourself a favor and don't buy a S&F mattress especially not from Raymour and Flanigan! I will never buy from them again!

"Too much whiz and not enough bang"
from New York , NY
I purchased this S&F do to lumps that developed in my previous S&F i had since to 2008 only four years out of ten year warranty. The s&F i purchased in 2008 was a firm mattress non pillow top. I was given a credit from Raymour and Flanigan for the price of that mattress in 2008.I was happy after four years of sleeping on top of a table that developed lumps like a pillow top but empty. I used the credit as an opportunity to upgrade. I purchased the Wanda pillow top plush mattress and was very disappointed. I told the sales person in the Yonkers store i purchased it from i did not want another firm mattress, i had suffered 4yrs to long. I layed on the mattress for 15 min on each side as recommended. In the store this mattress was soft but with enough support not to sink. when the mattress was delivered my nightmares started all over again. This mattress a pillow top plush was harder then the mattress i swapped out. No pillow top feeling at all!!!!!!! Just a extra firm mattress pretending to be of pillow top comfort.Customer service came out and i was told i can have a new mattress because of the 30 day comfort guaranty but i would be charged a a restocking fee and delivery charges. a total of[$] so BEWARE i will never buy a mattress based on the floor room model again no matter how long i lay on it, i think they put different mattress on the floor to make you purchase but send you something manufactured different.
