Small changes that can make a big difference.
Before, this living room was simply too spread out to be functional. When friends and family came over for special occasions, everyone was too far away to carry on an intimate conversation. Having all of the furniture pushed against the walls created big, open areas in the center of the room, leaving everyone in limbo.
THE SOLUTION: This calls for some rearranging. Don’t be afraid to bring your sofa and chairs in from the walls to make your sitting area a little cozier. Add an area rug in the center of the space to give your floated furniture an anchor (yes, you can still add a rug if your room is carpeted). You can also add a console table to the back of an exposed sofa to improve its looks.

We all crave a little change once in a while. There may be nothing fundamentally wrong with your room—it could be attractive and functional in every way—but if the love you once had for your home is gone, then it may be time to freshen things up.
THE SOLUTION: An accessory swap is the key to rekindling your faded fancy. Roll out a new rug, pillows and wall decor and watch your room come to life! To make sure you never get bored of your space, you can rotate your color palette with the seasons, choosing lighter hues for spring and summer and deeper tones for fall and winter.
