...and everything in its place. You’ve heard the mantra, now it’s time to put it into practice. Start with the big stuff. Consoles, armoires, and coat racks provide ample space for morning must-haves. It's important to ensure that your crew has what they need to get out the door stress-free. Large pieces are perfect for coats, uniforms, and outerwear, while baskets and bins hold smaller accessories and items.

Think of your entryway as command central. Set up a designated area for bags, shoes, boots, homework, and after-school-activity necessities. A coat rack is a must! Benches and ottomans offer storage and a convenient spot to sit and put on/take off footwear.

C = Clutter-free Commitment
As kids get back in the academic groove, keep the momentum going. Add a bookcase, credenza or shelves/shelving unit in the bedroom or study area to keep textbooks accessible. Get a handle on school supplies and homework with designated areas to keep things tidy. Make sure your student has a desk, proper lighting, and a comfortable chair. There are endless ergonomic options to choose from, including computer credenzas, L-shaped and corner desks.

Get an A+ in organization by establishing a ‘shoes off at the door’ rule. As the weather changes, this will really help to contain dirt, water, and debris before it gets tracked into your home. Take it a step further and assign a cubby for each child. You can even color code your child’s school supplies (e.g., Bobby’s are blue, Gabriella’s are green) for at-a-glance identification. No more lost or misplaced items!
