1 Bed, 5 Ways
The bed is the star of any bedroom. This classic foundational piece can be more versatile than you might think. As trends and tastes change, it’s easy to refresh your room’s look, without a complete overhaul. We took a popular favorite, the Valerie Upholstered Bed and created five bedrooms around it, each in a different style: modern farmhouse, traditional, mid-century modern, glam, and coastal.

MODERN FARMHOUSE
Create a laid-back, lived-in look by combining rustic pieces with contemporary touches. Distressed wood finish furniture adds warmth and a casual, cozy charm while neutral tones, natural materials and complementing rugs, artwork and lamps complete the look.

TRADITIONAL
Bring on a classic, more restrained, and refined style with dressers and seating that feature carved legs as well as mirrors with arched tops for a more ornate style. Patterned and floral wallpaper, upholstery and rugs offer welcoming warmth, color, and texture.

MID-CENTURY MODERN
Showcase sleek shapes, clean lines, and minimal detailing. This style features understated, organic, functional wooden pieces with metal and brass elements. Mustard, teal, or orange accent colors and patterned rugs and graphic artwork add a pop of color.

GLAM
Turn up the drama with bold color and luxe textures. Furniture with curved silhouettes and undulating lines add elegance, while sumptuous fabrics, from velvet to faux fur, up the comfort and the wow factor. Mirrors, metallics and glossy lacquers reflect your good taste as they add sparkle and shine.

COASTAL
Be transported back to the laid-back, lazy beach days of summer with sand-and-sea hues and natural materials like cotton, driftwood, rattan, and even stone. Pared-down but still cohesive, this simple style highlights treasured mementos against a cream, beige, and sun-kissed blue palette.
