When our extended family visits grandma, we typically need to sleep on the pull-out couch. Problem is, that couch is 25 years old, and both my wife and I dreaded each time we had to sleep on the old mattress. Finally, we decided to replace just the mattress portion - replacing the couch would be too much of an argument.

I found this item on Raymour & Flanigan's site, but we needed to purchase it quickly - on our way to the house. I found that it was in stock so I called and spoke with a nice salesperson, who confirmed the measurements (full-size) and ensured that we could pick up the mattress the next day. I placed the order over the phone. Quick and easy.

We were even able to try the mattress out on one of the sample couches in the showroom. Pickup was easy, and it was manageable for one person to carry.

That night we swapped out the old mattress unsure of what quality of sleep lay ahead. I did notice, that when folded up, the couch didn't sag as much and sitting on the cushions was more supported.

At night, I could tell I was sleeping on a pullout couch, but at least the metal frame was no longer carving through me. I'm 6', 225, and woke up with my usual tightness, but no pain. My wife, 5'3" 130 had similar decent sleep for a pullout. Even our 12 lb. havanese found a place to snuggle with us and didn't complain in the morning.

All in all, a nice upgrade to a couch that only a mother could love.
